Foster & Adoptive Care
Here at Haverhill Commons, we believe that every child deserves a safe and supportive home. We work with several local agencies, including the Greater Haverhill Department of Children and Families and Fostering Hope New England to raise up new foster homes and support children and families impacted by foster care.
This was not something we set out to do, but rather a response to what was already happening in our community. Independently of one another, several families had already opened their home to children in need. We thought it made sense to join them.
Now, we form Care Communities around each foster family to provide wrap-around support, which includes prayer, encouragement, meals, and respite.
