Meeting the Moment

Here at Haverhill Commons, we are committed to living the principles of our faith out in meaningful ways in our communities. Our faith isn’t something we keep inside, it’s manifest in the way we love and serve God and one another. This means meeting the moment with courage and solidarity as we extend radical hospitality to our neighbors.

This postures is reflected in our name, “The Commons.” We want to be a safe community where everyone is welcome and the resources we have in Christ are shared by all. This means that no matter where you land on any specific political policy or social issue, we want to create a space where you can share your opinions and experiences without being afraid of judgment.

We welcome nuances and multiple perspectives, confident that we can learn from one another. Because our ultimate allegiance is to Christ, our collective identity should grow in a way that is distinctly Christ-like.

Here are a list of resources that we’ve found helpful as we strive to be God’s people in a hurting world.
