Our commitment to safe places is informed by our awareness of the impact of trauma on children, and we actively take steps to provided trauma-wise care for all children, no matter what they’ve experienced. All our staff and volunteers are trained to provide consistent, supportive care on Sunday mornings for children based on their individual needs.

Children have different needs at different developmental stages (Experiential - 0 to 6yrs old, Affiliative - 7 to 11yrs old and Searching - 12 yrs old and up). Aware of these natural stages, we want children at Haverhill Commons to feel the freedom to be curious, and we encourage them to ask questions about God, themselves, and the world.

At Haverhill Commons, kids are loved and included. You'll see kids running around and laughing, while also playing an active role in our services by reading scripture, clicking through service slides, playing in the band, and helping to mentor younger kids. Our hope is that kids come to know and experience the love of Jesus through their church community.
